The M3i Zero Sakura Card for Nintendo DS, DS Lite, DSi & DSi XL is a popular high-end slot-1 flash cart solution that allows you to launch games, run applications and play media directly from the device. I liked this card for a little while then I started to get fed up with how rare updates come out for it. It's been 2 months and Super Scribblenauts still isn't patched. I currently own 4 flash carts and this one is my least favorite. The M3 team is to blame for how bad this card really is. They don't stay up with the updates. If you want a good card, skip over this one and get yourself a Supercard DSTWO. That is currently my best card of the 4.
I own an Acekard 2i, R4 DS, M3i Zero, and SCDSTWO. R4 DS is a great deal if you have a DS or DS Lite because of the Wood firmware. They keep it up to date. AKAIO for the Acekard is about the same but by far the most up to date one is the SCDSTWO (For now at least).
I really regret getting this card. You will too once you see how M3 is about their updates. Just check around yourself and see when their last release was before you buy. By next year Super Scribblenauts probably still won't work.

Well, this has been a quite hyped flashcard about a year ago.
The main OS called "Touchpod" is as nice as the DSTT fimware. - It's really annoying, to tell the truth. The "Sakura" OS is just an older Moonshell version as GUI, Touchpod will still load the games.
Sakura slows down game speed sometimes, I dont think that this is Moonshell's fault, but a problem of the not-really-working softreset system that M3 came up with.
I guess the game compatibility is quite good - if you're japanese.
European game fixes are always a problem (since the "M3 Team" can't find them on 2chan, I guess) and it can take month untill European blockbuster games get fixed. If they get fixed at all.
Stay away from this card.

Only silver award lol
its okay but i tried my friends acekard2i and it works better
the lack of teeth is dissapointing and the homebrew supports is faulty other than that the m3izero is pretty good
but based on the price i think acekards are better
@awesome card...
who knows he may have had fake of malfunctioning cards

Before Shoptemp opened, I went through the hassle of buying two M3i Zeros.
The first one I received was shipped with a faulty USB cable. That meant it was impossible to flash the firmware, and I couldn't use it.
I ordered a second one from another website, this time the USB cable worked, what followed was disappointment.
The Sakura Firmware turned out to be disappointing, it offers less functionality than Moonshell 2.10 does. The touchpod firmware was unacceptably slow and bothersome to use.
Playing games was a nightmare, on my DSi, closing the lid would cause the DSi to power off.
On my DS Lite, sleep mode would flicker on/sleep/on/sleep.
Gameplay was also slower than it should be, videos in game would play slowly.
I have a hard time understanding why this is a popular flashcart, because myself, and my brother who now owns both M3i's agree, this is not a good flashcart. Easily the worst one I have had the displeasure of owning.

This card was quite good a year or two ago - the entire M3 name was. While it does everything intended to, there are major flaws, such as a lack of support, buggy UI etc. Whilst the sakura OS looks good, it drops support for home-brew and for backups. There have even been rumors that the M3 team has come under legal troubles. I have owned several of M3's cards, but am now moving away, in favor of a Supercard DSTWO, which is more frequently updated.
Will not buy again, and would not recommend to anyone, there are better choices for your money.

This review is for the M3i Zero GMP-Z003 (new batch of M3i Zeroes) and not the old, great, awesome, super, perfect M3i Zero.
The new M3i Zero GMP-Z003 is a total failure and a shame for the M3 team.It doesn't support quad-boot, has flashing problems, and has a sleep mode bug.
If you don't care playing on your DS or DSL, then get a M3 DS Real instead of this.

The M3i Zero has two versions. The old one, which is nice and runs 3rd party firmware. And the new one (GMP-Z003) which will only run Sakura.
The new one also has reported issues with flashing, and oftentimes has broken sleep.
It works I guess, but I would not recommend buying one over other options.

This card was good for a while, but i just cant really deal with it anymore. I recommend against getting this card for a few reasons. The main reason being the build quality. It is absolutely horrid. Sometimes, just tapping the ds a certain way kills the cards connection. Second, the teams support of this card is not good at all. The sakura firmware is pretty good, and is pretty much the only advantage it has over any other card. But i really dont think its enough to make up for whats bad about it. Your much better off getting an SCDS2 or an AceKard if you need something cheaper. All in all, its an alright card, and will work for some people, but there are better cheaper options out there.

I had this over a year now, never had a problem with it only flash firmware once or twice i don't remember, the only thing i was abit disappointed was the compatiblity of Homebrew stuff worked better on the M3 Real but i am not complaining very happy with it, only reason i got the M3 Zero was got the DSi. Sakura was the best OS i used out there.

This is in my opinion the best DSi compatible flashcart, I love the sakura OS too
