R4i Gold 1.4.1 Description
The R4i Gold Card for Nintendo DS, DS Lite, DSi & DSi XL is a popular and affordable slot-1 flash cart solution that allows you to launch games, run applications and play media directly from the device. Simply place your files onto either a micro SD or SDHC memory card (sold separately), insert the micro SD into your R4i Gold, your cart into your DS, and turn the system on. Playing games and media has never been easier!
Why is it better than the regular R4 DS, R4 SDHC, and R4i SDHC? Because the R4i Gold is compatible with the Nintendo DSi and DSi XL/LL - even consoles flashed with 1.4 firmwares. Receiving frequent updates from the development team, the R4i Gold offers frequently improved compatibility and features. It also includes an updated version of Moonshell multimedia player for optimal multimedia capabilities. Not to mention the superb shiny gold design! Note that the cart contains renewed hardware and thus uses different system files.
Note: The R4i Gold is an upgraded version of the R4 DS cart which brings in compatibility with MicroSDHC and Nintendo DSi/DSi XL consoles. Not yet compatible with the Wood R4 firmware.

R4i Gold 1.4.1 Features
When updated with its latest firmware, the R4i Gold offers the following functionality:
- 2nd generation storage device: no booting tool required.
- Flush fitting slot-1 card for Nintendo DS, DS Lite, DSi & DSi XL.
- Supports any MicroSD or SDHC speed and card (FAT16 or 32 formatted), with no in-game lag.
- Supports clean ROMs, with simple drag-and-drop interface. Works on any OS
- Built in NoPass for booting slot-2 (GBA) devices.
- Automatic save type detection: no more hassle selecting save types manually!
- Save directly to MicroSD card, not to onboard chip. No more lost save games!
- Supports Moonshell and other homebrew thanks to automatic DLDI patching.
- User-friendly skinnable interface, various skins available. Touchscreen or button operation.

c ma premiere carte pour la DS et franchemen elle assure grave j pensé ke pour 12$ jorait de la merde kan on voit la supercad a $35 mai la sa va tous les roms marche dc g bien fé de lacheté

works fine on this card. I also used to own a M3i0 but I gave it away (to a friend). No ingame lag like on the M3i0 so I'm happy, I just wanted a card for playing games anyway, I dont need fancy stuff like on the dstwo.

pretty happy with it except i thought the card would come in a metal box like gold colored and all but it didnt it just came in a regular cardboard packaging that didnt feel like gold but i guess you cant have everything so overall im pretty happy with it but i dont know if its the bst flash cart because i only have this one i recommed it

Once I finished setting it up the card turned out to be an excellent surprise. I did have to update it to play Pokémon Black though but that just shows the team is quick to react.

Hi! I have owned this card for 4 months now and it has been getting constant support from the team. I was particularly happy when they released a R4i Gold compatible Wood R4. Clearly the best thing that could've happened to my R4i. My daughter is now enjoying Pokemon Black and I probably won't get my DS back for a couple of weeks. Oh well whatever makes my kid happy :))

After finding the proper system files I must say I am enjoying the hell out of this cart. The packaging sold me already and the menu is fine. I can play my favorite games just smoothly. Don't know what else there is to say, it's just what I needed!
