R4i SDHC 1.4.1 Description
The R4i SDHC Card for Nintendo DS, DS Lite, DSi & DSi XL is a popular and affordable slot-1 flash cart solution that allows you to launch games, run applications and play media directly from the device. Simply place your files onto either a micro SD or SDHC memory card (sold separately), insert the micro SD into your R4i SDHC, your cart into your DS, and turn the system on. Playing games and media has never been easier!
Why is it better than the regular R4 DS or the R4 SDHC? Because the R4i SDHC is compatible with the Nintendo DSi and DSi XL/LL - even consoles flashed with 1.4.1 firmwares, unlike the original R4 DS. Note that the card contains renewed hardware and thus uses different system files.
Note: The R4i SDHC is an upgraded version of the R4 DS cart which brings in compatibility with MicroSDHC and Nintendo DSi/DSi XL consoles.

If you're looking for a slot 1 flash kit with 100% ROM compatibility, complete "drag 'n' drop" ease-of-use and don't plan on expecting much more from the cart, then I can definitely recommend the R4 DS as your solution.

DSTT Clone, but a great clone!

Now don't be fooled by the name R4i SDHC, it's nothing like the original R4DS. In fact it's a hybrid type clone, sporting the R4DS main menu, but DSTT file browser. The Slot-2 option actually houses the options menu. There's lots of little options like skin selection and sleep settings.
The file browser is the main downside to this cart. It simply lists everything on the card, no matter what folder you browse to. it even lists your saves. Not pretty when you think about it.
Game compatibility is very very good! I tried like 40 games with no problems at all. Really even the Castlevania titles play perfectly.
The top screen houses some interesting things. It lists your SD card's formated size and file system.
I won't get into anything else, but I will say I think the card is worth the money.

I got mine like last year and i was very happy all the games run perfect (almost) and the file browser displays only nds roms but not the hidden ones. the 3rd button (at this time) has 2 options 1 to edit the setting likes skins and stuff and the second option update for when there is an update avalible for dsi 1.5.0 or 3ds 2.1.1 you can easily update. downsides on the back of the box it says it has a bulit in slot 2 loader for nds and ndsl there is no loader for me. if you have a dsl your in for a surprise. the r4i's default brightness setting is 4 you can change it but it gets really annoying so i use ysmenu for that. also the cheats aren't very accurate i have downloaded Super Mario 64 DS (U) v 1.0 Cheats work fine. in v 1.1 the cheats are for v 1.0 so they don't work so i use ysmenu for that too.

Besides what others have said here, mostly about the card itself, (which btw way is all true) The support is quite nice. If a new gave has AR, they should have an update within a week, that completely fixes the problem! very nice.

utter garbage

bought 2 of these one works as when it feels like it and the other is a nice piece of useless plastic.
1 faulty but 2 come on guys atleast test the stuff if someone pays the extra to have it preloaded!! especially before sending them halfway round the globe.
first time customer and probably only time due to very poor support and mediocre at best customer service.

Worth The Wait.

This is my first attempt with a flashcart; and i must say that i am thoroughly pleased with my choice. It took me all of 10 minutes to figure out; most of which were spent playing with the configurations. :) Priced very nicely. Shipping was a long time (tomorrow would have been 1 month to the day); but also a very long distance(East Tennessee, USA).

Despite the photo that, to date, reports "v1.4" the flashcard is "v1.4.1", as per the title.

After struggling with a r4i gold (the R4iDS one listed on this site), which played less than 50% of my roms, I bought this one which has played every rom so far. Yes the menu does list every single game/file but I'm prepared to put up with that. Excellent.
