Taiko no Tatsujin Wii: Do Don to 2 Daime! Description
Taiko no Tatsujin Wii: Do Don to 2 Daime! (太鼓の達人Wii ドドーンと2代目！ Taiko no Tatsujin Wii: Do Don to ni Daime!, Taiko Drum Master Wii: Do Don and the Second Generation!), or simply known as Taiko no Tatsujin Wii 2, is a music rhythm game for the Wii. It was released on November 19, 2009 only in Japan. It is the sequel of Taiko no Tatsujin Wii.
There are many new features in this game. Players can see guest characters such as YMCK's Family series, THE IDOLM@STER, Dragon Quest series and more. There is also a Boss mode, where players can defeat a robot bird, Itrium, and a robot similar to Mega Man, Garium. Players also can customize the anthropomorphic Taiko in different costumes such as a sumo, a policeman, a cake, or even as a pencil.
Dr. Waruru, a mad scientist who hates festivals and all things fun has invented 8 different robots to ruin everyone's celebration. All the robots are named after metals in the Periodic Table.
- "Anchimon" (antimony)- Dual bongo drums who unleash little monsters and other obstacles
- "Ittoriumu" (Yttrium) - A robot bird who makes noise at a high pitch and blocks off the song
- "Gariumu" (Gallium) - A parody and very similar to Mega Man and can create ice
- "Geruma" (Germanium) - Same build as Gallium, but is red in color and creates fire
- "Tantaru" (Tantalum) - A strong and powerful robot who breaks the screen with boulders
- "Tangusuten" (Tungsten) - Same build as Tantalum, but with amazing speed and speeds up the notes of the song you are currently playing
- "Teruru" (Tellurium)- A female drone who can create portals which suck things into it, and makes notes invisible
- "Arumi-chan" (Aluminium)- The robot that Don and Katsu found in the festival and became their friend turns against them under Dr. Waruru's control. Has very powerful attacks.
